Guided Tours Given by The Avshalom institute to the ‘7 Mills’ Historical Site.
15 years ago, The Avshalom institute for Israeli heritage studies, decided to take the ‘7 Mills’ historical site (located in the Ganei Yehoshua park near the Yarkon river) under its wing, and offer guided tours in order to raise the awareness of the public to the importance of the site in commemorating the long-forgotten way of life of the people who lived here, in early day Tel Aviv.
Volunteers from the institute and its students give free guided tours to the site.
Groups will assemble on the first Saturday of each month, as of this November.
Guided tours leave every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 13:00, when the weather permits and not on Jewish holidays.
The ‘7 Mills’ historical site can be reached from the Ganei Yehosua parking lot or from 84 Rocah Blvd. In Shikun Vatikim, Ramat Gan.
The Public is invited to visit the fascinating historical site, and enjoy the guided tours given by the volunteers, free of charge.
Our appreciation goes out to all volunteers of the Avshalom institute, and to the project coordinator, Mr. Giora Gourevitch.
